The Canadian provinces and territories have made changes to their immigration systems so that new immigrants can become permanent residents throughout the pandemic. According to Canada PNP latest news, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) have been in service during the coronavirus pandemic, and there is no sign of stopping in 2021 either. These programs serve an essential role in regional economies. They were built to fill shortages in the labour market with foreign workers who want to come to Canada.

February 16: British Columbia invited 459 candidates to apply for provincial nomination via five BC PNP sources. Only NOCs 0621 and 0631, held a separate draw in which 35 additional candidates were invited.
