Should you satisfy all the minimum requirements, your application will be assessed based on:
- Age
- Education
- Work experience
- Whether you have a valid job offer
- English and/or French language skills
- Adaptability (how well you’re most likely to settle in Canada).
These aspects belong to a 100-point grid utilized to assess eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. The present pass mark is 67 points.
Minimum requirements
Work Experience
The meaning of skilled work experience is that you have worked in 1 of these National Occupational classifications (NOC) job groups:
- Skill type 0 – Managerial jobs
- Skill level A – Professional jobs
- Skill level B – Technical jobs and skilled trades
It is essential to show the duties you have performed in your primary occupation are the same as the lead statement of the occupational information in the NOC. Your Skilled experience should be :
- the same job you would like to use in your application for immigration
- in the last ten years
- It must be a paid job
- one year of continous work experience.
Language
You must have taken the approved language test (IELTS) in the last two years for:
- listining
- writing
- reading
- speaking
You need to achive a minimum of CLB 7 in all four ablities. In addition the test results must be entered in your Express Entry profile
