The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project (AIPP) is undoubtedly the best option for people who wish to apply as immigrants. Besides, the program is for those who want to immigrate to Nova Scotia. This program would be conducted for three years and would commence up until December 2021. The AIPP is designed to allow employers to hire suitable applicants. This would later serve to be a solution for labor shortages in the Atlantic regions.

As the employers offer jobs and necessary support, 2000 applications would only be accepted. However, for Nova Scotia, the number of applications every year would be 1000. The government has selected many communities for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project . These communities would represent regions to lay out the plan officials have in mind. Over a period of time, the officials would come up with the importance of the pilot program. They would experiment on how immigration can help with the development of rural areas.

Way back, an immigration pilot program was tested in Atlantic Canada. This led the officials to take the initiative and offer support to those who want to settle in Nova Scotia. Hence the future seems bright as immigrants and Canadians could reap the benefits. As the program would be considered, it would be presented to skilled workers. The program would also be conducted for International Student Graduates. The former is for highly skilled and intermediate skilled workers. On the other hand, the later would be a single program.

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project is a path to permanent residence for skilled and experienced foreign workers and international graduates who want to live and work in one of Canada’s 4 Atlantic Provinces:

To meet the criteria, the employers have to visit different websites of applicable provincial bodies. These websites are different for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island. But, the employer would have to visit just one website for Newfoundland and Labrador.
