How is Canada PR points calculation done?
You already know that Canada follows a point structure to choose immigration applicants. The candidate must score at least 67 points under different conditions to apply for a PR visa. The qualified potential applicant can now apply his/her online application to the Express Entry Online Pool, Canada’s most successful immigration program.
IRCC performs the selection of candidates from the Express Entry Online Pool based on the candidate’s rank, and the system is referred to as the CRS – Comprehensive Ranking System. The score for the CRS will vary with each Express Entry draw. Applicants who reach the current CRS CUT-OFF score are given ITA – Invitation to apply and are then invited to apply for a PR visa.
Candidate factors such as age, work experience, adaptability, etc. decide the CRS score. If your CRS is weak, there are many ways to increase your ranking.
