Your Guide To The Canada Express Entry Draw 2021

February 13, 2021BY Admin

Do you wish to move to Canada? Here’s some good news for you – The Government of Canada is conducts an Express Entry draw approximately every two weeks. Most recently, there has been a trend that the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has been keeping the Express Entry draw date on a bi-weekly basis, which is roughly every 15 days. The 15-day frequency could change, but at least two express entries will be drawn in one month, creating an easier way for all aspirants to immigrate to the beautiful land of the maple leaf.

What is The Canadian Express Entry?

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) use Express Entry, an application management system used to handle and process applications accepted from three federal economic immigration services for skilled workers in Canada.

As eligible employees, you can move to Canada as a permanent Canadian resident via Express Entry. The average number of immigrants like you in Canada is from Express Entry under the immigration plans 2021 to 2023, which is massive and hope for those new applicants who dream that they will emigrate to this beautiful country.

Canadian Express Entry Draws in 2020

The record-breaking Express Entry’s accurate figure in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic is a ray of hope for prospective candidates. Canada released 107,350 ITAs last year and targets are set to increase over the coming years as Canada looks forward to welcoming more immigrants to support its post-COVID economic recovery.

Canada Express Entry Draw Target 2021

More invitations are expected to be released in the coming weeks, months and years, to the advantage of individuals and families worldwide wishing to make Canada their new permanent home.

The Comprehensive Ranking System is a score of 1,200 used to benchmark federal economic applicants against each other. It is part of the Express Entry mechanism set up in January 2015 to process residency applications. The score is applied as a cut-off point for Express Entry draws. It is structured to project the probability of a nominee being economically successful in Canada.

Canada’s immigration strategy is already generating a buzz, as Canada invited 654 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residency on February 10, 2021. Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) welcomed applicants with a minimum score of 720.

Only candidates nominated for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) were invited at the latest draw; this is why the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut was so high. Applicants who the Express Entry-aligned PNPs have nominated will automatically earn 600 points to their overall score.

To date, IRCC has issued 5,374 ITAs, more than the amount it issued at the same time in 2020. The figure is likely to increase further with the CEC-only draw expected later.

The latest Canada Express Entry Draw saw IRCC issue more invitations and reduce the CRS cut-off score than the last PNP draw on January 6 with a cut-off score of 813.
